End of the Year Journal

I started this tradition with my students last year, at the suggestion of our assistant principal. I bought a journal and during the last week of school, I had each of my students write a letter to me. They could write whatever they wanted.

I finally finished reading them all this weekend.

Some made me laugh. Some made me cry.

All in all, I know I truly touched my students. Reading their letters reminds me of how important my job really is. I feel truly blessed to be a teacher.
